Evaluation of Sitagliptin and Enalapril in the Adriamycin-induced Nephropathy Mouse Model

Adriamycin-induced nephropathy is a highly reproducible model of renal injury. Mice exhibit impaired kidney function characterised by an increase in urinary albumin creatinine ratio, protein creatinine ratio, glomerulosclerosis and altered tubulo-interstitial histology. These changes mirror those seen in human chronic kidney disease (CKD).
